Location
From Jacob Lake, take US Highway 67 South towards the North rim of Grand Canyon National park. Once in the park, drive 9.5 miles to the signed junction with the Cape Royal road and Point Imperial and turn left (East). Drive 5.4 miles to the signed junction and turn right onto Cape Royal Road. Drive about 14.3 miles to the end of the road. There is a restroom at the trailhead, but no water.

Hike to Cape Royal on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National park, Arizona.
From the parking area, follow the paved path towards Cape Royal viewpoint. Although the path doesn't remain paved, it is easy to follow and well signed for the duration. To the left, there is a spur trail to Angels Window viewpoint. Continuing straight leads to the views from Point Royal.
These two viewpoints reveal good views of Vishnu temple, furnace flats, and the Unkar Delta area of the Grand Canyon. You can also see the Colorado River from here. After enjoying the views, return the way you came.
