30 yr old Recommendation: The spring is interesting and a change from the typical viewpoint hikes of the north rim. Since you'll still have energy after this short hike, it's best to hike some of the other hikes in the area, such as Cape Final and Cape Royal. This is an Easy hike.

Hike to Cliff Spring on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National park, Arizona.

From the small pullout, follow the signed trail along the easily followed dirt path. This trail drops into a small valley and you quickly come across an ancient native American granary. As always with ruins such as these, look but don't touch.

It's a short walk through the forest to the signed Cliff Spring, which is a seep underneath a large overhang. It's a cool and peaceful place.  After you've enjoyed the atmosphere of Cliff Spring, return the way you came.
